Cookie policy

Sourevo only uses two first-party, strictly necessary cookies: one to remember your language and one to keep you signed in. No analytics, no advertising and no third-party cookies.

This text is available in Spanish and English. In case of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Spanish version prevails.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser to remember information between pages or between visits.

2. Cookies we use

CookieOwnerPurposeDuration
NEXT_LOCALEsourevo.com (first party)Remember the website language to show pages in that language. When you arrive at an address without a language, it stores the one your browser asks for under its preferred-language setting (or the site’s default language, if we do not offer that one).Until you close the browser
sv_sessionsourevo.com (first party)Keep a customer or supplier account signed in (it is the same cookie; its signed content states the account type). It is HttpOnly and Secure, and is only set when you sign in.Until you close the browser or sign out (72 hours at most)

We use no analytics, advertising or social media cookies, nor other tracking techniques (pixels, browser fingerprinting or local storage for that purpose).

3. Why we do not ask for consent

Article 22(2) of the Spanish LSSI (implementing the ePrivacy Directive) exempts from consent cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have expressly requested. The session cookie is one: it is only set when you sign in and without it you cannot use your account. The language cookie is a user-interface customisation cookie, which the Spanish Data Protection Agency’s cookie guide (May 2024 version) treats as exempt when it reflects a user preference (here, the one set in your browser) and is used only for that. That is why we show no cookie banner.

If we ever add cookies that are not necessary, we will ask for your consent before setting them and update this policy.

4. How to manage them

You can view and delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block sv_session you will not be able to sign in; if you delete NEXT_LOCALE, the language will be detected again on your next visit.
