Submit your customers' DDS in TRACES as their authorised representative
Your importing customers will need a due diligence statement for every Annex I product they clear. Sourevo lets you manage all of them from one account: their suppliers, their plots and their DDS, submitted through the TRACES API with the authorised representative role.
How it works with the mandate
1. The customer gives you a mandate
A written mandate from the operator, as Article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 requires. It is separate from customs representation, although you can sign both together.
2. You add each company
Each importer is a company in Sourevo, with its EORI, products and suppliers. Suppliers upload their plots from a portal, with no TRACES account.
3. You submit and take the number to customs
The DDS goes out through the TRACES API identifying the represented operator. When TRACES returns the reference number, it is on the record, ready for the customs declaration.

Many small importers have nobody who knows TRACES. If you already handle their customs, submitting their DDS is the next step, at your own price. Compliance stays with the operator: you submit with the information and risk assessment they approve.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a mandate separate from the customs one?
Yes. Customs representation does not make you an EUDR authorised representative: you need a written EUDR mandate, although it can be in the same document.
Who is responsible if something goes wrong?
The operator, even when its representative submits the DDS. That is why the mandate should say who provides the information and who decides on risk.
Can I use my TRACES credentials for all customers?
Yes: you submit with your Web Services access as authorised representative and identify, in each DDS, the operator you submit for.
Can I try it before subscribing?
Yes, 14 days free, submitting to the TRACES test environment, with your own test credentials if you have them.
